NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Homelessness Initiatives Commission (HIC) will hold an in-person board meeting on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Conference Room 851 on the 8th floor of the Ed Ball Building, located at 214 North Hogan Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
The purpose of this meeting is to:
- Discuss and assess the current unmet needs of Duval County's homeless and chronically unhoused populations
- Review gaps in existing programs and services targeting these populations
- Evaluate the status of funding
- Review the status of the RFP for a consultant for strategic plans
- Address any other matters within the purview of the Homelessness Initiatives Commission
Members of the public are invited to attend this meeting in person at the location provided in this notice.
