Homelessness Initiatives Commission

Notice is hereby given that the Homelessness Initiatives Commission (HIC) will hold an in-person Board meeting on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the 8th floor of the Ed Ball Building, located at 214 North Hogan Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
 

Purpose

The Commission will discuss and assess the current unmet needs of Duval County’s homeless and chronically unhoused populations; gaps in existing programs and services targeting these populations; the status of funding; the status of the RFP for the consultant for strategic plans; and any other matters within the purview of the Homelessness Initiatives Commission.

Members of the public are invited to attend this meeting in person at the location provided above.

Parking Notice

Parking in the Ed Ball Garage is available but limited. Once the number of spaces reserved for non-monthly parking is full, no additional tickets will be issued for public access.
