The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and assess the current unmet needs of Duval County's homeless and chronic unhoused populations, gaps in existing programs and services targeting these populations, the status of funding, the status of the RFP for the consultant for strategic plans, and any other matters within the purview of the Homelessness Initiatives Commission.
Per Article V of the Homelessness Initiatives Commission Bylaws, a Chair, Vice-Chair, and a Secretary shall be elected by the Commission consistent with
Robert’s Rules of Order and include the opportunity for public comment before a vote of the Commission. Officers will be elected by a majority vote of the Commission.
