Notice is hereby given that the JWC’s Fort George River Sandbar Vessel Speed Regulation Task Force will meet on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Don Davis Room, located on the 1st floor, City Hall - St. James Building, 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The purpose of this meeting is to study and make recommendations regarding the issue of public safety in the Fort George River Sandbar area due to increases in vessel population and lack of vessel speed regulation.
All interested parties are invited to attend.
