In addition to traditional neighborhood and regional parks, our park spaces include 22 Community Centers conveniently located throughout the city. You can explore the mystery and beauty of nature at any of our 15 Environmental Parks. Pursue your personal fitness goals by working out at one of several JaxParks Fitness Centers and Gymnasiums or swimming at one of our more than 30 Swimming Pools. JaxParks is also home to seven Specialty Parks, each boasting its own unique attractions including hiking and biking trails, a dedicated skateboarding facility, camping areas, waterfront amenities and even museums. It is our sincere hope that you and your family find the time to take full advantage of everything JaxParks has to offer!

JaxParks Summer Camp 2025

JaxParks Summer Camp (Day Enrichment) is offered in three (3) sessions and is on a first come, first served basis. Campers will explore a variety of activities including STEM themed enrichment, sports, arts and crafts, games and field trips.

Ages: 6 - 12
Fee: $95 ($20 non-refundable)
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Extended Care Hours: Before Camp 7:00 am - 8:00 am and/or After Camp 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Extended Care Fee: $20 per session
Registration: Began at noon on May 6th and is available online at jaxparks.coj.net or contact the Summer Camp staff at (904) 255-7931. Space is limited.

Session I: June 16 - June 27 (No camp on June 19, Juneteenth observed)
Session II: June 30 - July 11 (No camp on July 4)
Session III: July 14 - July 25

Financial assistance was available for families who qualify. Duval County residents only. The Lottery Drawing happened on Friday, April 25th. Award recipients received an email notification once the registration process was complete and required documentation had been submitted.

JaxParks Teen Nights 2025

Come have summer time fun with us Friday and Saturday nights June 13 through August 2 for basketball, music, snacks and activities at our four gyms around town. Teens 13 - 17 are welcome with a picture ID. No Programs on July 4-5.

JaxParks offers a variety of activities for after school ages 6 through 17. Options include Club Rec and Teen Warehouse. Activities recreational sports, homework assistance, cultural programs, teen programs, games, and more..

Summer Sports Camp

New Camp Alert! JaxParks is offering a Summer Sports Camp at Cuba Hunter Community Center! Kids will learn technical ball skills and implement their knowledge through soccer, flag football and basketball fundamentals focusing on individual and team building skills.
Also, small group activities and interactive games will help develop new friends and build team spirit.
