NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville Building Inspection Division will hold an informational forum on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Attendees may register for either the 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. session or the 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. session. The same content will be presented during both sessions.
Purpose
The purpose of this forum is to provide commercial property owners, business owners, contractors, design professionals, and other interested stakeholders with information about Certificate of Use requirements and the Converting Use Building Permit process. Attendees will learn about the approval requirements for opening, modifying, or changing the use of commercial or multi-family spaces.
