Community Outreach & Governance
Mayor Deegan wants to ensure every person has a voice in City Hall and a seat at the table. By listening to people from every corner of Jacksonville, the Deegan Administration is committed to creating a government that works for everyone and that provides critical services efficiently and effectively.
This dashboard is an interactive tool that lets users filter and visualize city service requests by service type, status, zip code, and time frame. It provides customized maps and data views to show where and how City resources are being requested.
Animal Care and Protective Services is committed to improving outcomes for the animals in its care and continually works to strengthen its save rate through dedicated staff and growing community support. Animals enter the shelter for many reasons, including owner relinquishment, being found as strays, impoundment or seizure, and transfers from partner agencies, with stray and at-large animals representing the largest share of intake. The shelter provides daily care for a substantial population of animals, supported by employees and volunteers who enrich their lives. The Animal Care Dashboard promotes transparency by sharing clear information about trends, outcomes, and community involvement, and fostering trust.
The JaxLitter Dashboard features a heat map and interactive mapping tools to visualize the geographic distribution of litter reports and cleanup activity across Jacksonville. Users can explore clusters of reported litter or debris, identify high‑incidence zones, and track changes over time in response to city cleanup efforts. This spatial insight helps city managers, sanitation crews, and community partners prioritize cleanup operations, allocate resources more efficiently, and engage residents in targeted anti‑litter campaigns.
