Promises Kept 
Every day, thousands of Jacksonville residents travel the roads, sidewalks, and pathways that connect them to the people and places they care about most. Since 2023, we have continued investing in the infrastructure that keeps Jacksonville moving. Across our city, residents are seeing smoother roads, improved sidewalks, upgraded drainage systems, expanded trail connections, and projects that make neighborhoods safer, more connected, and more resilient.
Whether it is a parent driving their children to school, a senior enjoying a walk through their neighborhood, or a family traveling across town to work, learn, and spend time together, these investments help strengthen the connections that shape everyday life. Over the last 12 months alone, more than 113 miles of roadway infrastructure have been improved throughout Jacksonville.
We are also strengthening the neighborhoods people call home. Drainage projects, flood mitigation efforts, septic tank replacements, environmental restoration initiatives, and expanded tree planting programs are helping protect homes, preserve natural resources, and reduce the impacts of severe weather. These investments help create communities that are better prepared for the future while improving quality of life today.
At the same time, we are strengthening the connection between residents and their local government. Through public dashboards, project tracking tools, and expanded access to information, Jacksonville residents have greater visibility into how projects are progressing and how investments are improving their communities.
