July is recognized nationally as Park and Recreation Month, a time to honor the vital role that parks, trails, open spaces, and recreation programs play in enhancing the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. 

Signature projects like the Emerald Trail are transforming how residents move through and experience the city-connecting neighborhoods, parks, schools, and cultural assets through a 30-mile urban trail system that promotes equity, mobility, and environmental sustainability.

Mayor Deegan encourages all residents to explore, enjoy, and support the parks, trails, and community programs that help make our city a place "Where You Belong".
