Keep Jax Cute, Don't Pollute
Mayor Donna Deegan Launches “Keep Jax Cute: Don’t Pollute” Litter & Blight Campaign
A Citywide Call to Action for a Cleaner, Safer Jacksonville
Mayor Donna Deegan is leading a bold, citywide initiative to tackle litter and urban blight across Jacksonville. The “Keep Jax Cute: Don’t Pollute” campaign is a comprehensive effort focused on education, prevention and enforcement, and community engagement—empowering residents to take pride in their neighborhoods and help create a cleaner, more beautiful city for all.
“This is more than a cleanup—it’s a cultural shift,” said Mayor Deegan. “We’re building a Jacksonville where everyone can live, work, and play in neighborhoods that are safe, welcoming, and respected.”
The campaign aims to significantly reduce litter and blight through a sustained, community-driven strategy that promotes civic responsibility and accountability. Residents are encouraged to use the MyJax app to report and track litter hotspots, helping the City respond more effectively.
