Notice is hereby given that there will be a workshop regarding the Urban Forest Management Plan in collaboration with the Jacksonville Tree Commission on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 1:30 – 3:30 pm. The Jacksonville Tree Commission meets pursuant to City Ordinance 2017-397-E and Chapter 54, Ordinance Code. The Urban Forest Management Plan (“UFMP”) is a project of the Planning and Development Department, Office of Resilience, in coordination with the Jacksonville Tree Commission, parks and public works staff, community stakeholders, and guided by a team of experts, to guide the protection and expansion of Jacksonville’s tree canopy. This workshop is being held for the purpose of discussing the findings of the UFMP Technical Workgroup, Policymaking Workgroup and Community Workgroup.
