NOTICE is hereby given that the Duval County Legislative Delegation will hold a Local Bill Public Hearing, Organizational Meeting and General Legislative Public Hearing on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Purpose
The Delegation will conduct a Local Bill Public Hearing to discuss and consider local bills scheduled to be heard during the upcoming 2027 Session of the Florida Legislature. The Delegation will also hold its Organizational Meeting to elect the incoming 2026-2027 Delegation Chair and Vice Chair and conduct its General Legislative Public Hearing.
Speaker Requests and Public Comment
All persons wishing to be placed on the agenda to speak must complete and submit a Speaker Request Form and Materials Handout Checklist. The form is available on the Duval County Legislative Delegation Meeting Information webpage.
Speaker Request Forms and all materials or handouts must be submitted to the Duval County Legislative Delegation Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026.
Speakers must indicate on the Speaker Request Form whether they intend to address a local bill or a general legislative matter. Only speakers addressing a local bill will be heard during the Local Bill Public Hearing.
Presentations are limited to three minutes per speaker.

Materials and Handouts
Persons submitting informational materials or handouts must provide 10 sets. Each set must:
- Include a copy of the Speaker Request Form as the cover page;
- Be printed on 8 1/2 x 11-inch paper; and
- Be three-hole punched on the left side.
