Mayor's African American Advisory Board
Board Overview
- Legislative Authority: Executive Order 2024-02
- Total Members: 11
- Board Purpose: The Mayor makes 11 appointments. The African American community, which comprises approximately 30% of the City’s population, desires a forum to communicate with and advise the City about matters impacting the African American community. The purpose of the Mayor’s African American Advisory Board is to provide a means for the City to obtain information and guidance concerning this community.
- Meeting Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, Suite 400, 32202, in the Naomi T. Glover Conference Room. (Meeting times and locations are subject to change.)
