Civil Design Deviations
Civil Design Deviations are now submitted through the JaxEPICS website. Click on "Applications" at the top of the page, then "Start Civil Design Deviation Application" and then select the Deviation Type (Drainage Design, Roadway Design, Site Regulations, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, or Other).
The following deviations are available:
Drainage Design
- Sheet flow into ROW
- De minimis improvement
- Storm sewer configuration (max vertical separation and deflection angle)
- Storm sewer inlet capacity
- Use of valley gutters
- Aerial utility crossing for canal
- SWMF positive discharge
- Pond side slope
- SWMF contributing inlet elevation
- Stormwater pump
- Pond freeboard
- Pond depth
- Pond maintenance easement
Roadway Design
- Roadway alignment (including ROW width)
- Extent of restoration for driveways
- Unpaved median request
- Minimum median width
- Selective clearing and grubbing request
- Alternate pavement design life
Site Regulations
- Industrial sidewalk deviation
- Sidewalk construction waiver and payment into Sidewalk Fund (FKA LDPM-ILS: In-Lieu Sidewalk Program Application)
- Cross-access exemption or deferral
- Above-ground utilities
- Cul-de-sac greater than 1,000 feet
- Block length greater than 1,500 feet
