HOMELESS VETERAN STAND DOWN

A two day event for Veterans that includes a job fair on January 23 from 10-2 pm that is open to all Veterans and military and a resource fair on January 24 from 9-2 pm that is open to all homeless, At-Risk, and transitioning Veterans.  ID is required.

This is a partnership between the City of Jacksonville's Military Affairs and Veteran's Department and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc.'s Veteran's Service Unit.  

This will be a 25 minute consultation with a JALA Veteran Services Attorney offering legal guidance and additional resources.

All active-duty families with military ID are welcome to attend this event.  The Food Farmacy provides a valuable opportunity for military Families to receive fresh, nutritious food to support their health adn well-being.  Attendees must bring their military ID to participate.  

This occurs the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and it is located at 5391 Collins Rd, Jacksonville, FL  32244.
