The Military Affairs and Veterans Department (MAVD) proudly hosts the NAS JAX Food Farmacy on the first and third Thursday of each month from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at 5391 Collins Road. This program supports active-duty military families by providing access to nutritious food resources. In collaboration with BEAM and Feeding Northeast Florida, the Food Farmacy is available to active-duty military families with valid military ID.
An evening of pampering for military spouses sponsored by VyStar Credit Union and the Military Affairs and Veterans Department. This is a free event for the spouses of active-duty, guard, reserve and retired military service members. Registration is requested at www.jacksonville.gov/msno. Occurs on June 4, 2026, at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena from 5 pm until 8 pm. No childcare is provided. there will be drinks, food samples, raffles, massages, hair stylists, a golf simulator, a DJ and so much more!!
