Animal Care and Protective Services

Dog Handling is a class taught by the expert ACPS Enrichment Team. Volunteers will learn how to safely handle dogs while on the ACPS grounds. Volunteers will also learn valuable information about dog body language, leash skills, and submitting notes about the dogs they walk. The class consists of a classroom portion and a hands-on portion. Volunteers should come prepared to walk dogs and have fun!
