Volunteer Spotlight: Ellen Nasrallah - Orange Level Volunteer

Dedicated, dependable, and always willing to step up when something needs to get done. She started as a committed dog walker and worked her way up to Orange level, handling some of our more challenging dogs with patience and confidence.

Beyond walking dogs, she has become a huge part of keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. She helped organize and delegate volunteer tasks, played a key role in revamping and speeding up our volunteer onboarding process, and stepped up early on to help coordinate our Stroll Mates group walks.

And if that wasn’t enough, she now spends several hours each week from home helping answer ACPS emails, and social media messages so adopters and community members get the support they need.

Around here, she’s basically our shelter mom. She makes sure everyone is taken care of, sometimes literally by bringing in incredible homemade food, and she keeps us all on track to get our work done.

We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of the ACPS volunteer family.
