The Military Affairs and Veterans Department will be closed on December 25th for observance of the holiday.  We will reopen on December 26 at normal business time.  

The Military Affairs and Veterans Department office will be closed for New Years.   Will re-open on January 2nd.  

Military Affairs and Veterans Department VSOs will be at the Charles Webb Westconnett Regional Library the 2nd Thursday of every month to answer any questions on Veteran Claims and Benefits.  

This event occurs the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, with the exception being the month of December.  For Active Duty Military Families with Military ID.

Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc has partnered with the CIty of Jacksonville's Military Affairs & Veterans Department to host a series of Ask-A-Lawyer events for Veterans.

All active-duty families with military ID are welcome to attend this event.  The Food Farmacy provides a valuable opportunity for military Families to receive fresh, nutritious food to support their health adn well-being.  Attendees must bring their military ID to participate.  

This occurs the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and it is located at 5391 Collins Rd, Jacksonville, FL  32244.  

This is a partnership between the City of Jacksonville's Military Affairs and Veteran's Department and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc.'s Veteran's Service Unit.  

This will be a 25 minute consultation with a JALA Veteran Services Attorney offering legal guidance and additional resources. 

The Military Affairs and Veterans Department will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.  We will reopen on the 20th at normal business hours. 

Veterans Council of Duval County Monthly Meeting

The Military Affairs and Veterans Department will have state certified VSOs at the Pablo Creek Regional Libray the 3rd Wednesday of every month to answer questions on Veteran claims and benefits.
