Notice is hereby given that the Metropolitan Park and Urban Parks Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Metropolitan Park Improvements, which includes Council Member Bill Gulliford (Chair), Council Member Lori Boyer and Council Member Don Redman will meet Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., in Conference Room A, located at 117 West Duval Street, 4^th Floor, City Hall, St. James Building, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss improvements to Metropolitan Park.

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Carter will meet with Council Member Redman, May 14, 2013 at 2:30 pm. The meeting location is in the Don Davis Room 1^st floor at City Hall, St. James Building, 117 West Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a proposal to extend the ability to raise and keep pet chicken hens for backyard egg production in residential RLD zoned areas of the City (reference Section 656.401 (a) (3), Ordinance Code)."

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Jim Love will host a Town Hall Meeting on May 13, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at FSCJ / Kent Campus Auditorium (3939 Roosevelt Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the proposed development and rezoning (PUD) of the property at 4000 St. Johns Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32205 (“St. Johns Village” – located near the intersection of St. Johns Ave. and Herschel St.).

Notice is hereby given that Council Member Bill Gulliford will meet with representatives of the City of Jacksonville’s Office of Economic Development (OED) and Planning Department, as well as, community and civic leaders on Monday, May 13, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., in the Mayport Community Center, located at 4870 Ocean Street, Mayport, Florida 32233.  The meeting is being held to discuss Mayport Village and the future vision for the area.
