Unfair and Deceptive Trade
Unfair methods of competition, unconscionable acts or practices, and unfair or deceptive acts or practices perpetrated on any consumer in Duval County during the conduct of any trade or commerce are hereby declared unlawful. The Neighborhoods Department Office of Consumer Affairs will mediate consumer complaints that cover issues pertaining to consumer fraud and/or protection. An example would be landlord tenant, retail sells/return policies, or etc.
