Notice is hereby given that the notice is hereby amended for a new meeting time and revised Committee name and that the Special Committee of the City Council to Review JSO Primary Facilities will meet on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Lynwood Roberts Room, located at 117 West Duval Street, 1st floor, City Hall - St. James Building. This meeting is an organizational meeting of the Special Committee.
Hopefully by now each of the Committee members will have toured the existing facilities with Sheriff Waters and discussed with him and other stakeholders how best we, as a committee, should approach this work. As I noted in my earlier notice, I expect the process to be similar to CQLI in that three or more working groups will be established. That said, I look forward to hearing your thoughts as to how you think we should proceed. I look forward to working with you.
