Disabled Services Division is seeking volunteers for the City of Jacksonville's 2ndAnnual Disability Expo! Please help us make this an event to remember!
Event Information:
Event: Disability Expo 2025
Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025
Location: Prime Osborn Convention Center, 1000 Water Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204
Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Volunteer window)
Note: The main event runs from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Attendance:100 organizations and 900 community members
We are recruiting volunteers to assist with the following roles:

Registration: Help check in attendees and vendors, distribute programs, meal vouchers, swag, and provide information.

Vendor/Speaker Assistance: Assist with set-up, relieve vendors for breaks/lunch, and support speakers and room setup.

Surveys: Distribute and collect surveys; assist those who need help filling them out.

Guides/Way Finders: Direct attendees to workshops and stages, assist individuals with visual impairments, and manage event flow.

Runners/Floaters: Transport materials and items throughout the expo as needed.

Moderators: Facilitate panel discussions, keep speakers on time, and manage audience engagement.

Parking Attendants: Help guests find disabled parking and navigate to the event entrance.
Volunteer Shifts:

First Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
-
Second Shift: 11:45 AM – 3:00 PM
-
Third Shift: 2:45 PM – 6:00 PM
Volunteer Attire: Business casual with comfortable walking shoes.
Parking: Free Parking is available!
