CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST – Customer Service/Exemptions Division

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         Good verbal and written communication skills

·         Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office and using the internet for research

·         Ability to type 40 words per minute

·         Prior customer service experience that required good organizational skills as well as an ability to listen and effectively communicate with customers

·         Ability to efficiently interact with a high volume of customers on the telephone and in person while providing quality service

Duties include processing exemption applications as well as responding to customer inquiries relating to the tax roll and/or exemptions. Starting salary is $25,900 to $37,000 depending on experience.  Employees are expected to meet production and quality standards.
