Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund Summary Plan
This document is referred to as the “Summary Plan Description” (hereinafter referred to as the “SPD”) and it is generally revised and redistributed to members of the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund every two plan years in accordance with the provisions of Section 112.66, Florida Statutes. The SPD is compiled and distributed in order to provide the membership with a document that describes a general outline of the plan in a summary format. Inasmuch as this booklet is a summary only, it is not intended to describe all of the detailed provisions of the Plan nor is it intended to address all of the possible situations and complexities that may occur.
