Holiday Waste Collection Update

Important Service Notice

City office closures do not impact residential waste collection. Waste collection schedules change only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, regardless of how many days City offices are closed for the holiday.

For all other holidays, waste will be collected on your regularly scheduled day beginning at starting 6:00 a.m.

Thanksgiving 2026 Collection Schedule

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 26, 2026

• Customers with a Thursday pickup will be serviced on Saturday, November 28, 2026.

Christmas 2026 Collection Schedule

Christmas Day – Friday, December 25, 2026

• Customers with a Friday pickup will be serviced on Saturday, December 26, 2026.

Avoid Holiday Confusion

Even when City offices are closed for multiple days, waste collection only changes if your pickup falls on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All other routes run as normal.
