Construction Debris
- For residents in non-automated areas (City and Meridian Service Areas): Homeowners doing small home projects can discard up to one cubic yard (the approximate equivalent of two full construction wheelbarrows or one 96-gallon Toter) of building materials weekly on household garbage collection day. Materials must not exceed 5 feet in length or width or weigh more than 40 pounds. If possible, containerize all materials and place them separately from the household garbage for verification of quantities. Sec. 380.207] As with all household garbage, waste should be placed at the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on collection day. Waste should not be placed at the curb before 5:00 p.m. the day prior to scheduled collection and all empty containers must be removed from the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. the day after scheduled collection.
