The 7 Creeks Recreation Area Partners are hosting the fifth annual 7 Creeks Fest on March 7, 2026, at the 7 Creeks Recreation Area in North Jacksonville. This free, family-friendly event is a chance for everyone to celebrate and explore the 7 Creeks Recreation Area, which is made up of city, state, national and nonprofit wilderness preserves.
The 7 Creeks Fest will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. and includes plenty of activities for all ages. Betz-Tiger Point Preserve located at 13990 Pumpkin Hill Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32226 is the welcome hub, where guests can get the program schedule, visit a host of environmental exhibitors, and enjoy a variety of music. A free shuttle will take visitors between the hub and most of the trailheads and parks where activities are planned.
Visitors can take part in guided hikes throughout the 7 Creeks Recreation Area, which will focus on native plants, wildflowers, nature photography, archaeology, birds, and history. The 7 Creeks Recreation Area Partners include Timucuan Parks Foundation, the City of Jacksonville, Talbot Islands State Parks, Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, North Florida Land Trust, and Visit Jacksonville. Each year, the partners come together to host activities that highlight the beauty of the area.
Additionally, guests can take a self-guided hike at Bogey Creek Preserve, enjoy kayaking and biking, or take part in the camping clinic, sound bathing experience, bingo scavenger hunt, prescribed fire equipment demo, or an invertebrate bioblitz.
Food trucks will be onsite at the Hub, or visitors can bring a picnic lunch. Music will be playing throughout the day on the 7 Creeks stage, which is also at the Hub. Live musicians include Rambler Kane and A Fine Kettle of Fish.
