CITY OF JACKSONVILLE TO HOST THE 34TH ANNUAL WORLD OF NATIONS CELEBRATION

February 09, 2026
The City of Jacksonville is thrilled to invite residents and visitors alike to the 34th Annual World of Nations Celebration. This vibrant multicultural festival brings the sights, sounds, and tastes of the globe to our city. For over three decades, this beloved event has celebrated Jacksonville's diversity, fostering unity and providing a unique opportunity to explore the rich traditions and cultures that shape our community.

The event will take place at Ford on Bay in Downtown Jacksonville on Saturday, February 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are available for advance online purchase for $9, plus tax and fees. At the event gate, tickets will be $13, plus tax, for ages 4 to 17, and $15, plus tax, for ages 18 and older. Children ages 3 and under can attend for free. Please note that all ticket sales are cashless, with major credit and debit cards and tap-to-pay options accepted for a smooth and secure transaction experience.

This year’s lineup features an extraordinary array of cultural displays, authentic cuisine, and traditional performances from 29 nations, including Argentina, Bahamas, Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, France, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, India, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, Palestine, Republic of Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Sierra Leone, Spain, Sudan, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, U.S. Virgin Islands, Venezuela.

The celebration will include live traditional country performances all day on Saturday and Sunday, as well as a 5:00 p.m. performance on Sunday by the group 95 South. The Jacksonville Multi-Platinum bass duo, Carlos (Daddy Black) Spencer and Michael (Mike Mike) Phillips, first hit the scene in 1993 with the smash hit “Whoot, There It Is” from their debut album “Quad City Knock”. The group name references Interstate 95, which passes through the city, and last year, Mayor Deegan proclaimed March 1 to be “Whoot, There It Is” Day in the City of Jacksonville.

The event footprint at Ford on Bay offers exciting activities and a chance to explore the world without leaving Jacksonville, while honoring the unique contributions of each nation to our city’s vibrant tapestry.

This year, the celebration will feature Orbit’s Exploration at World of Nations, sponsored by Community First Credit Union, a fun, family-friendly adventure that invites guests of all ages to interact with the celebration. Start your journey by stopping at Guest Services, sponsored by Community First Credit Union, to pick up your exploration board. Then explore the festival, visiting each country's tent to collect a unique sticker representing that nation—learning and celebrating cultures along the way. Once you’ve gathered all the stickers, return to Guest Services sponsored by Community First Credit Union to show off your completed board and receive a prize! Available while supplies last; activity is limited to 1,500 participants per day.
