Notice is hereby given that the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission will hold an in-person meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The meeting will be held in-person at the Main Library, Multipurpose Room, 303 N. Laura Street, Jacksonville, FL  32202. The public is invited to attend this meeting in person.

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month a VSO will be at the Regency Square Branch Library to provide general informationon MAVD services, HVRP, tax prepartaion, and upcoming events.  They can also assist clients with completing an Intent to File claim

Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Public Meeting

The City of Jacksonville is eligible to receive funding under the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Local Solicitation. JAG is established within the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the US Department of Justice (DOJ). JAG funding will provide Jacksonville with the opportunity to reduce crime and improve public safety through the implementation of diverse strategies.  The proposed application for the use of JAG funds will be available to the public for comment and review on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 10:00AM, in the Ed Ball Building, 214 N.
