JaxParks Has Options for Afterschool Fun

August 09, 2021
With the new school year for Duval County, the City of Jacksonville’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is providing fun, safe spaces for students to go when classes are done. Two free programs, Club Rec (ages 6-12, K-5th grade) and Teen Warehouse (ages 13-18, 6th – 12th grade), are hosted at community centers throughout the city from 2:30 – 6 p.m., Monday – Friday, and offers attendees the opportunity to receive homework assistance and enjoy group activities.
Both programs will run until May 2021; parents can register at participating locations while spots are available. Visit for more details.
