630-CITY Customer Service Center
The office will be closed Friday July 4 through 8 a.m. Monday, July 7. Customers may request a city service anytime online at myjax.custhelp.com.
Jacksonville Public Library
All Jacksonville Public Library locations will be closed on Friday, July 4. All libraries will reopen for regular service hours on Saturday, July 5.
ACPS
ACPS will be open for adoptions from 12pm-4pm on July 4.
Tennis Centers
Southside Tennis Complex will be open from 9 a.m.to 4:30 on July 4. All other tennis facilities will be closed but the pickleball court entrances will be unlocked for public access.
Huguenot Memorial Park
Park hours are 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 4; admissions close 1 hour prior.
Park day-users, annual pass holders and early bird ticket holders can enter starting at 6 a.m. All day-use visitors must exit the park by 8 p.m. Campground visitors are permitted; however, they must purchase a visitor’s pass by 7pm before the front office closes in order to stay until 10pm and must leave promptly.
Camping reservations close at 5 p.m. pre-paid campers can check-in up until 9:30 p.m. Campers may exit and reenter the park until 11:00 pm. No reentry after 11 p.m.
At times, the park experience closures due to high tides, capacity, or unsafe conditions. During this period, Management will close the park for admissions and/or for beach driving. The closure of the park is a hard closure which will not allow any visitors, campers, or shelter reservations in until the event is over, and the park is re-opened.
Multiple areas on the oceanfront shoreline are closed to the public for shorebird protection, which are FWC guidelines under the Migratory Bird Act. These areas may change periodically to better protect the birds, please be mindful, compliant and observant of the signage in the areas. We thank you for your patronage.
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park
Park hours are 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 4.
Early bird and annual passes are required for entry from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Park Day users and campground visitors may enter from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. All visitors, with the exception of permitted campers and their authorized visitors with passes, must depart by 8 p.m. Camping reservations close at 8 p.m. daily. Only campers with prepaid reservations can gain access from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. People without a prepaid pass waiting for them will not be admitted after 7:30 p.m. All campers must check in by 9 p.m., and have tents and RVs set up by 9:30 p.m. After 9 p.m., no one may enter to set up on a campsite.
Outdoor Pools and Cecil Aquatics Center
Outdoor pools will be open11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Cecil will be open 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. on July 4.
