CITY OF JACKSONVILLE SHARES DETAILS FOR THE 2027 SEA & SKY AIR SHOW IN JACKSONVILLE BEACH HIGHLIGHTED BY THE RETURN OF THE BLUE ANGELS

December 09, 2025

The City of Jacksonville, Office of Sports & Entertainment, in collaboration with Naval Station Mayport and the City of Jacksonville Beach, is thrilled to announce the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show – and the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels – on Saturday, October 23, and Sunday, October 24, 2027.

The 2027 National Air Show Calendar was announced today at the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2027 Sea & Sky Air Show event will take place along the breathtaking coastline of Jacksonville Beach and showcase a wide array of military and civilian air performers.

“We are excited to bring families, neighbors, aviation enthusiasts, and visitors together once again to celebrate community, military partnership, and the excitement of flight,” said Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan. “We are grateful to the Blue Angels for their planned return to our Sea & Sky Airshow to showcase their service, skill, and teamwork. It is a privilege to have the Blue Angels and all military air performers bring the thrill and magic of flight back to our proud military community.”

The free, family-friendly air show promises to captivate audiences with a weekend of thrilling, award-winning civilian and military aerobatic performances over the Atlantic Ocean, along with an array of additional activations and activities. All additional event details will be announced as the event approaches, including the complete list of performers, other activities, parking options, shuttle service, and road closures.

“I want to thank the City of Jacksonville for working so hard with us to bring the 2027 Sea & Sky Show – along with the Blue Angels – back to Jacksonville Beach,” said Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman. “This is a big day for all of us. We can’t wait to show off our community, celebrate the military, and enjoy the show in 2027”.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to Jacksonville Beach in October 2027, and to working closely with Jacksonville Beach Mayor Christine Hoffman for a weekend of excitement and community spirit,” said Alex Alston, Executive Director of the Office of Sports & Entertainment for the City of Jacksonville.
