The City of Jacksonville today announced the next phase of its successful Jax Litter League competition, this time with a football flair. Residents will once again turn community cleanups into a team sport, with a chance to win big on and off the field.

The winning team of the fall Jax Litter League season will receive a box of exclusive Jaguars swag and the opportunity to cheer on the Jaguars at a home game.

“Jacksonville is at its best when we come together for our city,” said Mayor Donna Deegan. “Let’s go for a touchdown in our fight against litter, getting neighborhoods across the city involved in a friendly competition. This is Duval pride in action.”

The Jax Litter League launched in July 2025, transforming community cleanups into a friendly citywide competition. The inaugural champions, Operation G.L.A.D.D. Dads, led by team captain Michael Robinson, set the bar high by collecting more than 50 bags of trash and bulky debris across Jacksonville.

For the next phase of the competition, football fans will be motivated to win Jaguars merchandise and a gameday experience.

To join the Litter League, teams earn points by collecting litter from streets, parks, and public spaces, reporting their progress, and keeping Jacksonville clean and beautiful. Leading the charge is T.P. McClean, the league’s mischievous raccoon mascot who reminds residents: Keep Jax Cute, Don’t Pollute!

The City of Jacksonville invites neighborhoods, businesses, nonprofits, and community groups to sign up and join the fall season of the Jax Litter League, now through November 30, 2025.
