About Riverfront Plaza

Riverfront Plaza represents a new chapter for Jacksonville’s riverfront — honoring the legacy of the Jacksonville Landing while creating a modern, accessible public space designed for today and the future. 

Phase 1 was completed in Fall 2025, offering a dynamic mix of recreation, relaxation, and connection to the St. Johns River, with additional amenities planned as the park continues to evolve. Amenities includes an elevated destination playground, restrooms, large open green space designed to host community events, performances, festivals, and everyday leisure, direct access to the Northbank Riverwalk, a plaza space that seamlessly connects Riverfront Plaza to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts and a cafe to open soon.
