Calling all educators, school board members and DCPS families, I will be holding a publicly noticed meeting on whether or not our community supports putting Ordinance 2026-0387 on a referendum ballot to let voters decide on whether to continue on with the current assessed tax rate for DCPS.
ORD 2026-0387 Calling an election on 11/3/26, to hold a referendum of the qualified electors residing in Duval County on the question of whether to continue the current one mill ad valorem tax to be used for school operational purposes for an additional 4 years beginning on 7/1/27 and ending on 6/30/31.
