Citizens with continued needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma can visit a City of Jacksonville Disaster Registration site, to open this Thursday - Saturday at the Webb Wesconnett Regional Library (6887 103rd Street, 32210).

 Less than a month away from the national celebration honoring and commemorating the heroic contributions of veterans throughout our country, City of Jacksonville officials shared the lineup of activities for the 2017 Week of Valor, an annual observance led by the City’s Military Affairs and Veterans Department that recognizes veterans, military members, and their families.

Citizens needing assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma can visit a City of Jacksonville Disaster Registration site taking place at the Main Library (303 N. Laura St. – 32202), Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Thursday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Today, Mayor Lenny Curry announced proposed updates to Kids Hope Alliance: The Jacksonville Partnership for Children, Youth & Families (KHA). Launched in August, KHA is a comprehensive and integrated system of reform established to improve the programs and services developed to meet the critical needs of Jacksonville children and youth.
