City to Commemorate ADA Anniversary
The City of Jacksonville will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with several events the week of July 22, including:
ADA & IT Symposium from 8 a.m-5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at UNF’s Adam W. Herbert University Center.
Disability and Adoptive Recreation Expo from 9 a.m-4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center

- Mayor Donna Deegan will provide welcome remarks and recognize the ADA’s anniversary at 9:30 a.m.

- Community Employment Supports: What Are They and How Do I Get Connected

- The Needs and Benefits of Recreation and Active Leisure
- Reasonable Accommodations/Self-Advocacy
