Leslie A. Healer joined the Office of the General Counsel in July 2026. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, she was a Deputy Attorney General in Reno, Nevada handling federal criminal appeals. Prior to that, she worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Attorney General’s Offices in the Northern Mariana Islands and Florida. She handled cases at both state and federal levels, including § 1983 cases, employment and land dispute administrative hearings, corrections litigation, ordinance drafting, and advising various government agencies.
Ms. Healer received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Hawaii. She obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. She is a member of the Florida Bar and Nevada Bar, and she is admitted to the Eleventh and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals, the Northern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, and the Nevada District Court.
