The Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Commission is our local, grassroots affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, the nation's largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. Made up of volunteer representatives of the public, private and not-for-profit sectors appointed by the mayor of Jacksonville, the commission meets bi-monthly, with committees meeting separately on the months in between. The commission provides leadership and direction for the projects of Keep Jacksonville Beautiful and approves any expenditures necessary to make those projects possible. All meetings are open to the public.

Free trees and free document shredding!

We will be collecting up to 2 (30) gallon bags of paper documents that will be hauled offsite for shredding.  We’re partnering with Greenscape of Jacksonville for this drive-through event, so drop your bags for shredding and then pop your trunk for free trees!

Up to 3 free trees on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Trees are 3 gallon and stand approximately 4 -6 feet tall.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday for the event and the Friday afternoon before – we give service hours!  Sign up with Greenscape of Jacksonville.
