Balis Park Renovation Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

Council Member Lori Boyer joined Mayor Alvin Brown, the San Marco Preservation Society (SMPS), the San Marco Merchants Association (SMMA) and others to break ground on the renovation of Balis Park in San Marco Square.  The park renovations are possible through a public private partnership between the City of Jacksonville, SMPS and SMMA.  More than $80,000 in donations has been raised by SMPS and SMMA to renovate Balis Park.
