14th Annual Veterans Job Fair

August 2012

The Veterans Job Fair, a free two-day event held August 3rd and 4th at the Jacksonville Fair Grounds, was open to all veterans and their families seeking employment.  The Military Affairs, Veterans and Disabled Services Department partnered with multiple employers including: Vystar; The Brumos Companies; Interline Brands, Inc.; Michaels Distribution Center; Kangaroo Express; Aarons, Inc.; Kelly Services and the Department of Labor.  Career counseling and resume-writing assistance was offered through government and nonprofit agencies.
