Council Member Freeman
Speaking at River City Science Academy Southeast Civics Class 6th & 7th graders. As a former teacher and Principal, CM Freeman understands engaging student at a young age with civic leaders and involvement in their communities and the impact of engaged civic leaders which his voice would provide invaluable insight and inspiration to the students.
In honor of Black History Month, he was honored to volunteer his time for this amazing speaking event. He enjoyed speaking with the students about the significance of this month, leadership, and the impact of civic engagement within the Black community. His life experiences and perspectives as a leader in Jacksonville was incredibly meaningful to the students, helping them to connect history with the present and empowering them to become active members of their communities.
