COJ Warming Center Open Tonight - Countywide Freeze Warning and Wind Chill Advisory
The National Weather Service is forecasting dangerously cold temperatures, with wind chills, or “feels like” temperatures in the 20s. A countywide Freeze Warning and Wind Chill Advisory are in effect tonight through tomorrow morning.
City of Jacksonville Launching Home Roof Rehabilitation Program
The City of Jacksonville Neighborhoods Department, Housing and Community Development Division, is proud to announce a new Home Roof Rehabilitation Program. The new initiative is funded from the City of Jacksonville General Fund as part of the task force programs recommended by Mayor Donna Deegan’s transition committees and passed by the City Council in December.
