City of Jacksonville Reopens Home Roof Rehabilitation Program

The City of Jacksonville Neighborhoods Department, Housing and Community Development Division, is proud to reopen its Home Roof Rehabilitation Program. The initiative is funded with $955,000 from the City of Jacksonville General Fund as part of the task force programs recommended by Mayor Donna Deegan’s transition committees and passed by the City Council in December.

Statement on UNF Poll

A new UNF poll found that 56% of the public supports the full stadium renovation deal, as long as it includes the largest community benefits agreement in NFL history, which by itself garners 81% approval. The City of Jacksonville and the Jaguars released the following statement in response to the poll:

City to Open Pools for Memorial Day Weekend and Beyond

The City of Jacksonville Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) is excited to announce the opening of 29 community pools for Summer 2024 – ten more than last year. As a result, hundreds, if not thousands of families will have easier access to a free way to cool off and have fun on hot days this summer.
