JaxReady Fest: FREE Admission, Parking, and Giveaways
A Fun-Filled Event for the Whole Family
The best time to prepare is before you need to. And JaxReady Fest makes that easy.
The City of Jacksonville’s Emergency Preparedness Division, in partnership with JEA, is bringing JaxReady Fest back to the Prime Osborn Convention Center for a two-day event built around a simple idea: families who prepare together are families who are ready for anything.
Admission, parking, and giveaways are all FREE!
Event Hours:
Friday, April 17: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Saturday, April 18: 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
From scavenger hunts and hands-on demos to free workshops on severe weather safety and home emergency planning, JaxReady Fest is designed to meet families where they are - curious, busy, and looking for something worth their time. Kids can get up-close with emergency vehicles and response equipment, while adults can pick up practical skills they can use the moment they walk out the door.
There is also the chance to meet the people behind the badges. The responders, utility workers, and public safety professionals who show up for Jacksonville when it matters most.
“Preparedness doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, and JaxReady Fest is proof of that,” said Andre Ayoub, Chief of the Emergency Preparedness Division. “We want families to leave with real knowledge, real connections, and maybe a few giveaways. We’re proud to bring this back to the community again.”
