ACPS JOINS JAX EXPERIENCES & TOURS FOR “ALL PAWS ON DECK” FAMILY EVENT TO BENEFIT SHELTER PETS
The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services is excited to join Jax Experiences & Tours at the USS Orleck on Saturday, November 7, for the first-ever All Paws on Deck event. This free, family-friendly event will feature adoptable dogs from ACPS, Pups & Pilates (tickets required; proceeds benefit Friends of Jacksonville Animals), face painting, information about supporting shelter pets, local vendors, special appearances, and more.
“We’re excited to team up with Jax Experiences & Tours for another great community event,” said ACPS Chief Michael Bricker. “Events like this are about more than finding loving homes for our dogs. They’re about bringing our community together, connecting with Jacksonville families, and showing people all the different ways they can make a difference in the lives of our animals. And I have a feeling our pups might be just as excited as we are to meet the Jacksonville Jaguars’ very own Jaxson de Ville! We’re looking forward to a fun day filled with wagging tails, new friendships, and hopefully a few happy adoption stories.”
All adoption fees will be waived for the event, and each pet will leave spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide information and facilitate meet and greets with available animals.
