The Engine Inside: A Night of Bike Culture and Advocacy

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville Transportation Planning Division, in partnership with local community organizations, will co-host The Engine Inside: A Night of Bike Culture and Advocacy on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The film screening will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 7:30 p.m.
Purpose
The Engine Inside explores bicycle culture around the world and the role bicycling can play in creating healthier, more connected communities. The event will bring together bicyclists, advocates, planners and community members interested in the future and growth of biking in Jacksonville. The evening will also feature bike safety giveaways, a sustainability station and secure bicycle parking for attendees who ride to the event.
