Notice is hereby given that the Land Use and Zoning Committee will meet on July 16, 2015 at 4:00 P.M., Council Chambers, 117 W. Duval St, Jacksonville, Florida to review meeting procedures and the life cycle of various types of legislation. Staff from the Planning and Development Department, and the Office of General Counsel will participate.

This meeting has been CANCELLED.

Notice is hereby given that the Duval County Election Advisory Panel’s meeting previously scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. is CANCELLED due to lack of a quorum.

The Beaches Branch Library will host a community meeting on July 6 to discuss the status of the construction project at the library.  Jim Robinson, director of Public Works for the City of Jacksonville, and Bill Joyce, chief of Engineering and Construction Management, will make presentations and answer questions. City Council Member Bill Gulliford and City Council Member At-Large Group 2 John Crescimbeni plan to attend.

In accordance with Ordinance 2005-361-E, the 1st Committee week and City Council meeting of the month of July are suspended for a summer break.  The regularly scheduled Council meeting cycle will resume with Standing Committee meetings on Monday, July 20, 2015.
