City Council Offices will be closed in observance of the New Year Holiday.

City Council committee meetings will NOT be held the week of December 28th to January 1st.  The regularly scheduled Council meeting cycle will resume with Standing Committee meetings on Monday, January 4, 2016.

Council President Greg Anderson will be meeting with Council Member Matt Schellenberg to have a discussion regarding vehicles for hire and the possible formation of a committee to further address this issue. 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm; in City Hall at St. James, 117 West Duval St., 2nd Floor, in Conference Room C. 

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 6:00PM, the Downtown Investment Authority (“DIA”) and the Downtown Development Review Board (“DDRB”) of the City of Jacksonville will hold a special public workshop regarding “Road Diet” improvements along Riverplace Boulevard between the Main Street Bridge Overpass and Prudential Drive.  The meeting will be held at the Lexington Hotel & Conference Center (formerly the Wyndham Hotel), 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
